As the current situation continues unabated and most students are confined to their homes it may be the time to look at some of the best opportunities for scholarships around the world.

Fulbright Foreign Students Program

Aimed particularly at the African countries the program is fully funded and even covers air travel and insurance. This program is for those pursuing their master’s degrees and PhD. You can register online on this website.

Urban Studies Foundation

This is also a fully funded program for those who belong to the Global South countries as defined by the OECD. The program is for those who are in their early and mid career, have obtained their PhD within the last 10 years and are currently working or teaching at a university or a research institution.

University of Auckland International Research Master’s Program

The program is for students from all parts of the world. The scholarship provides amounts up to almost 25,000 NZ$ for those intending to pursue a master’s research program.

University of Auckland Senior Health Research Program

The course level is PhD or MD at their medical institute for those who are interested in pursuing health research. The award is for international students which includes study fees plus upto 66,000 NZ$ per year, up to 3 years.

UTS Sydney Post Graduate Academic Excellence Funding

The award is approximately 8000 AUD for post graduate courses. This is available to students of all nationalities.
