The most distinguished universities in France are termed as grandes écoles. Most of the students qualifying out of these go on to make a fine career for themselves. École Polytechnique is one of these institutions.
The institution has been offering absolutely first rate free online courses. Some of the courses are in English and others in French.
Here are a few that we would especially like to mention.
- Fundamentals of Fluid-Solid Interactions: This course gives you an understanding to predict and mitigate these actions.The course is taught in English.
- Random – An Introduction to Probability: For those of you who speak French this course in two parts may be of interest. Afterall, probabilistic models are applicable in almost all fields including physics and finance. The course is taught in two parts.
- Wind Resources for Renewable Energies: This course is taught in English.
