University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada – Online Courses

The University of Calgary which is a public research university at one time was a part of the University of Alberta. Today the university has 14 faculties and more than 80 research institutes.

The university has set out several free online courses. Though the courses are short, it must be said that their efficacy is par excellence and relevance unarguable.

Here are two of the courses that instantly caught our eye.

  • Persuading Others: The course takes you through the art of developing persuasion skills to make your ideas heard and command the attention that we all deserve as individuals.
  • Building Rapport with Others: Be it colleagues, customers or just anyone that you need to interact with, rapport is important. The course teaches you the necessary skills related to verbal communication and also via correspondence.

The courses are taught via Linkedin Learning. They have listed out 7 courses in all. Some are free and can be viewed here.
