Some historians claim that globalization began with Christopher Columbus stumbling into the Americas during his search for spices in India when you could buy several of the buildings in Kensington Square with just one handful of spices, modern globalization is a comparatively recent phenomenon. With this happening, many of the universities in China have made a great name for themselves and quite justifiably they are considered par excellence.
Tsinghua University is one such educational institution. Thankfully, they too have joined in offering free online courses.
Here are some that attracted our attention.
- Pattern Studying and Making: This course takes you through the history of fashion and culture, pattern creation and several other areas.
- Writing, Presenting and Submitting Scientific Papers in English: The course takes you through the best practices for making presentations, advice on scientific research and more.
- Computational Geometry: The course teaches computational geometry theory, solutions to geometric problems and a lot more.
The university offers several useful free online courses which you can browse here.
