The Blue Book Traineeship With The European Commission

Twice a year, the European Commission offers paid traineeships in its Directorate-Generals, agencies and bodies, which have signed a Service Level Agreement with DG EAC/the Commission. The living allowance for the traineeship sessions in 2021 will be €1,229.32 per month. The deadline is on Tuesday 31st August 2021.

The European Commission is the executive branch of the European Union, responsible for proposing legislation, enforcing EU laws and directing the union’s administrative operations.

Trainees work all over the European Commission. The nature of your work will depend on the service you are assigned to.

You may, for example, work in the field of competition law, human resources, environmental policy, etc. The living allowance for the traineeship sessions in 2021 will be €1,229.32 per month.

The deadline is on Tuesday 31st August 2021. 

 

Main Criteria

The traineeship programme is open to university graduates who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree.

Good knowledge of two EU official languages is required, one of the languages must be English, French, or German. For non-EU nationals, only one procedural language is required.
