Red Cross Marketing and Communications Traineeship in Geneva, Switzerland

Graduates with qualifications in marketing or communications are invited to join the International Committee of the Red Cross on a 12-month paid traineeship. Candidates will receive a monthly salary of CHF 3,567. The deadline is on Wednesday 10th March 2021.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) works worldwide to provide humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflict and armed violence.

The organization takes action in response to emergencies and at the same time promote respect for international humanitarian law.

The traineeship will take place in Geneva, Switzerland. The placement is for 12 months with a monthly salary of CHF 3,567.

The trainee will be responsible for embracing the online presence and supporting the team in the production of data and metrics for the branding.

Some of the tasks will include social media management, content creation, and website management.

Trainees should be able to use design tools such as Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to create digital content.

The deadline is on Wednesday 10th March 2021.

 

Main Criteria

  • Have a sound knowledge of creating and handling social media content is required.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills coupled with a strong team spirit are necessary.
  • Candidates should have a university degree in marketing, communications or relevant field.
  • Excellent command of English and additional language skills are an asset.
