Paid English Teaching Internship in Spain

Current university students and recent graduated with C1 English proficiency level are invited to apply for a five-month teaching internship in Huelva, Spain. The internship will take place on 8 January - 31 May 2021. The deadline is on 31 December 20020.

Erasmus In School is a platform that provides internship positions in Spain for international candidates to assist in English language teaching in local schools across Europe.

Language assistant is somebody with a native or fluent proficiency level in one of the required languages.

Assistant teachers are normally university or graduate students who assist the teacher in the classroom, have experience with kids and good communication skills.

Assistant teachers can work in all education stages: kindergarten, primary, secondary education, vocational training and adult education.

Role of language teaching assistants is to work alongside a teacher in the classroom improving linguistics abilities of students. Additionally, interns help prepare pupils for oral examinations and develop lesson plans and extra-curricular activities.

The internship offers an opportunity to learn and develop your teaching career and receive mentorship and guidance throughout the program.

Interns will be provided with a monthly allowance of 500 euros, free lunches, health insurance, free Spanish classes, and free enrolment into the University online course about teaching techniques. Interns work for 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The deadline is on 31 December 20020.

 

Main Criteria

Candidates should possess minimum C1 English proficiency skills. Good communication skills and cultural awareness are necessary. Work permit is required to work in Spain.
