What is St Petersburg Linguistics Internship: The Polytechnic University is one of the leading Russian institutions that delivers prominent results in natural sciences, linguistics, and arts.

The internship is offered by the Institute of Humanities that offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in eight majors in the field of foreign languages and liberal and social arts.

Internships are held annually from September 15 to December 15 or from February 15 to April 15.

Interns will collaborate in the scientific research lab “Tandem-method in foreign language teaching within the framework of the multilingual approach”.

The programme covers project introduction, tasks development, and research under the guidance of a scientific advisor.

The scope of work in the framework of the research project is the following covers joint publications, development of additional international education programs including a mobile application and training manuals.

Additionally, interns will supervise bachelors and masters students and have the opportunity to apply for international projects and financial grants.

Application process is ongoing.

 

Main Criteria

Current postgraduate students and postdocs with a Master’s Degree or PhD are invited to apply.

Candidates should demonstrate an interest in researching the methodology of foreign language teaching.
