Movies Corresponding To The Festive Atmosphere

One more week has passed, and we are that much closer to Christmas. We at YT believe that this is a good time to offer you our weekly movie tips, this time with some Christmas spirit. Have a lovely and peaceful weekend.

Love Actually

A very special and humorous comedy with an all-star cast, based in London around Christmas time and bringing up the well-known fact that love is actually all around. If you are looking for a comedy that is easy to watch but far from silly, this one might be your choice.

The Holiday

What to do at Christmas time when you are hopelessly alone and that doesn’t seem likely to change in the near future? Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz are two girls from different backgrounds, but with the same problem. Their choices are to stay put and get depressed or change their surroundings completely. At least for a short time, which will eventually change their lives.

Miracle on 34th Street

A movie about the miracle of Christmas that will leave you wondering about the story behind the charming and very real-looking Santa. And here are two different versions of the Miracle on 34th Street, five decades apart.

The Family Stone

Family is the base, especially at Christmas. The problem with the Stone Family is that there are too many of them, too noisy, too critical, and they don’t much like their son‘s newly arriving fiance. It will take a while for her to fit into this otherwise together place.

The Ref

Not that we would like to support criminals, but this Christmas comedy from a somewhat different perspective might make you laugh. Gus is a professional robber, and he specialises in empty houses at Christmas time. His problem is a series of bad decisions. This is a comedy a little like Home Alone, but so much better.
