Arab students that show academic excellence are invited to apply for a €30,000 scholarship to study at the Leiden University in Leiden, Netherlands. The deadline is on Thursday 31st March 2021.
The Lutfia Rabbani Foundation and the Leiden University Fund have joined forces to support students who demonstrate academic excellence and a strong motivation to promote Euro-Arab dialogue.
The maximum amount of the scholarship is €30,000. Additionally, the scholar will participate in a mentoring programme that offers guidance on a personal and professional level.
Applicants will be assessed based on academic excellence, contribution to the field of study, financial need, and motivation to promote Euro-Arab dialogue and understanding.
Applications to Leiden University are processed year-round for the September and February intake. Applications may take between 4-6 weeks to be processed by Leiden University.
The deadline is on Thursday 31st March 2021.
Main Criteria
The scholarship is open to Arab students who have received an official letter of acceptance into a one year Master’s programme at Leiden University.
Students must be nationals from one of the following countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, Yemen, and Sudan.
