Students currently pursuing legal qualifications are invited to join Google’s Legal office on a paid internship in Hamburg, Germany. The internship will commence in 2022, the dates are flexible. The deadline is on Monday 15th February 2021.
Google’s legal team works to respond to some of the biggest legal challenges of the information age.
Interns will get an insight into a variety of legal challenges at Google and YouTube, learning to expect the unexpected while actively promoting the development of internet law in an unconventional environment.
This program is intended for students currently pursuing legal qualifications, who are returning to studies after the completion of the program.
Interns will assist with localisation of new Google products and conducting research on intellectual property, consumer regulations, advertising, etc.
In this role, you will enhance your organisational skills, attention to detail, versatility and composure, while also getting the opportunity to demonstrate that you have sound legal judgment, can learn quickly in a fast-paced environment, and can communicate confidently at all levels.
Candidates are to specify their preferred start dates and availability in 2022 on their CV.

Main Criteria
- First legal state exam completion.
- Current enrollment in compulsory legal training.
- Ability to speak and write in English and German fluently and idiomatically.
