Fox International Fellowship At Yale and Partner Universities

Graduating master’s and doctoral students are invited to apply for the 10-month paid fellowship at Yale and partner universities. Fellows pursuing research projects in international relations, social sciences, law, managements, and related fields will receive a scholarship to cover their stay, accommodation, and living expenses. The deadline is on Saturday 13th February 2021.

The Fox International Fellowship is a graduate student exchange program between Yale and 20 world-renowned partner universities.

Fox international fellows are selected for their potential to become leaders in areas of social impact.

Fellows’ research projects and academic interests focus on areas of study which have the potential to produce new, innovative, ideas and open new avenues for scholarly debate.

The fellowship focuses on such critical fields as: international relations and global affairs, law, environmental policy, public health, social sciences, economics, political science, political theory, business and finance, management, and contemporary history.

Fellows in residence at Yale attend orientation, a bi-weekly seminar, and functions throughout the year with the Fox family and the broader Yale, New Haven, and Connecticut communities.

Awards include round-trip travel, accommodations in rental housing and a generous living stipend to cover expenses not already provided for by existing funds that you may have at your disposal.

The Fellowship will also cover health insurance. All fellows are also able to apply for grants from a research travel fund up to $2000.

The deadline is on Saturday 13th February 2021.

 

Main Criteria

The programme is open to graduate level students pursuing Doctoral or Masters level degrees.

The Yale Fox International Fellowship selection committee makes the final decision based on the following criteria:

  • Quality of research proposal
  • Strength of academic achievement
  • Character and demonstrated leadership potential
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to being a scholar conducting academic work with the potential to offer practical solutions global problems
