The International Financial Corporation (IFC) invites Master’s students to attend the global short-term internship programme. IFC hires interns for a minimum period of four weeks between May and October to work on projects in Washington, D.C. or in one of IFC's country or regional offices. The vast majority of posted opportunities are open for virtual participation. The deadline is on Monday March 8th 2021.

IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, advances economic development and improves the lives of people by encouraging the growth of the private sector in developing countries.
Selected interns will be offered short-term temporary contracts that can begin as early as May and end as late as October 2021. Successful short-listed GIP candidates are directly hired and paid by interested departments worldwide, based on their business need and the particular profile of the candidate.
Assignments cover various areas of work, such as participation in sector-specific market mapping, investment proposal reviews, financial modelling and analysis, portfolio management, upstream work and advisory services activities.

Main Criteria
Candidates must be in the first or second-to-last year of a Masters’ level programme, with at least three years of relevant experience.
