CERN Administrative Student Internship In Geneva, Switzerland

Current university students are invited to join CERN on a paid internship in Geneva, Switzerland. Candidates will receive a monthly allowance of CHF 3,319 and have their travel and health insurance covered. The deadline is on Wednesday 24th March 2021.

CERN is the European Organization for Nuclear Research where physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe.

CERN often offers current university students both technical and administrative placements that allow interns receive hands-on experience of working at the organisation.

Internships are available in any of the following disciplines: translation, human resources, advanced secretarial work, business administration, logistics, law, finance, accounting, library and information science, engineering management, science communication, education, communication and public relations, psychology, audit, and more.

Interns can stay for at least two and at most 12 months while remaining registered as a full-time student. Good knowledge of English or French is required. Interns will receive a monthly allowance of CHF 3,319, a travel allowance, and health insurance.

The deadline is on Wednesday 24th March 2021.

 

Main Criteria

  • You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
  • You should have completed at least 18 months of your undergraduate studies
  • A CV
  • A copy of your most recent academic transcript giving an overview of your marks
  • A reference letter from your university professor is mandatory.
