Glimpse of Winter

Winter in many parts of the Europe, this year, was quite mild. So much so there was a feeling of early spring in January. We finally had snow during the latter part of February- exactly for one day. We share with you the beauty it created.

Glimpse of Winter
It started to snow in the evening before
The evening snowing still managed to surprise with the quantity of snow in the morning
The snow reached up to the belly of our cat
Barbie though is a joyful and adventurous cat who enjoyed the abrupt snow.
Phantom was of a different opinion and ran away
Not only the animals were surprised. The first messengers of the spring – crocuses created a beautiful scenery with the snow layer
Crocuses with a thick layer of snow designed an interesting contrast
The snow was holding on the most unusual surfaces and angles resulting in complete privacy
Glimpse of Winter
Last the rock garden fully covered with the snow
