Soul Surfer
The true story of Bethany Hamilton, a talented American surfer who, in 2004, at the age of 13, was attacked by a shark and lost her left arm. The movie follows Bethany‘s life from the moment of the accident to the day when strong determination and the unwavering faith of a teenage girl take her back to the surfboard to become a professional surfer.
Benny and Joon
Benny (Aidan Quinn) and Joon (Mary Stuart Masterson) are siblings. Joon is mentally challenged, and Benny looks after her devotedly. The moment Sam (Johnny Depp) enters their home, their entire lives change and are filled with crazy jokes that especially speak to the previously inaccessible Joon and make her discover a whole new level of being.

Ed Harrison and Cuba Gooding in a semi-biographical movie about a mentally disabled teenager nicknamed Radio who is given a chance to become an integral part of a school footbal team and part of a great big family. You never know how or where luck will happen.
Finding Forrester
An unusual friendship between a Pulizer Prize winning author (and reclusive, grumpy old man) William Forrester (Sean Connery) and a teenaged student with vaulting literary ambitions, Jamal Wallace (Rob Brown). Forrester’s initially cold response shifts when he sarcastically gives Jamal homework – a 5000 word essay on “stay the fuck out of my home” – which Jamal promptly completes and brings in the very next day. After that, an extraordinary relationship develops which brings new light into both of their lives.
