Communications Internships at the Centre for East European and International Studies

The Centre for East European and International Studies is an independent, international and interdisciplinary research institute. It started its work in October 2016 and concentrates on medium-term, socially relevant research on Eastern Europe.

The internship will include work on research projects as well as the possibility to contribute to the communications department. The organisation’s external communication focuses on the public image of ZOiS and the dissemination of research findings to the public. The most important medium is the website, together with the social media channels Twitter and Facebook. The tasks of the intern, depending on the field of activity, will be assisting in research projects, providing editorial support for ZOiS publications, social media and online editing, translations of texts for the website, assisting in the organisation of events, or management of the contact database. At the end of the placement, the intern will receive a certificate. Interns are compensated with €300 per month.

The deadline is on 1 February and 1 August annually.
