Arab Program for Sustainable Energy Youth

Recent graduates of Engineering, Environmental studies, Economics, or Business Administration are invited for a six-month internship at the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. Interns will receive a remuneration and have their travel covered. The deadline is on 12 September 2020.

The Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) is an intergovernmental organization that aims to enable and increase the adoption of renewable energy and energy efficiency practices across Pan-Arab countries.

It is the official technical arm institution of both League of Arab State – Energy Department and Arab Ministerial Council for Electricity.

RCREEE, in cooperation with the OPEC Fund for International Development offers recent graduates six internship opportunities at its regional headquarters in Cairo.

The selected interns should be prepared to relocate to Cairo. Among the activities to be carried out during the six months are training on data mining, research and analysis skills, technical training courses, and soft skills.

The selected candidates will work full time in research and analysis, project support, business development activities, or finance. For international interns, travel arrangements are the responsibility of RCREEE. Non-Egyptian and Egyptian interns will receive a monthly stipend of $705 and $350, respectively.

The deadline is on 12 September 2020.

 

Main criteria

  • The internship is open to recent graduate of Engineering, Environmental Studies, Economics, Political Science, or Business Administration.
  • Fluency in Arabic and either English or French is a must.
  • Interns should provide their CV and a one-page motivation letter.
