Birds and Their Antics

It may not be very obvious at first glance, but birds do have ways of expressing themselves and getting into horseplay that would make you laugh. Let's forget about the superstition of 20th January being the most depressing day of the year and look these funny creatures.

Sometimes just an open beak turns funny – Brown Pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis)
Flexibility is an asset – Burrowing owl (Athene cunicularia)
Team work of ducks
Diving performance by swans
Sneaky owl
Chuckling Snowy owl (Bubo scandiacus)
That is shocking – bewildered Grey crowned crane (Balearica regulorum)
Best friends forever – Three Atlantic Puffins (Fratercula arctica)
Sweetly hand in hand – Two King Penguins on the beach
And then the discussion turned into a fight – Two Pacific Swallows (Hirundo tahitica)
Now that is sad – a bitter expression of a turkey
Nosy pigeons
Phlegmatic approach – A squirrel and starling bird
First steps – a little duckling walking
