The ABEM (The African Biomedical Engineering Mobility) project is funded by the Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission and the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme of Education
The project mainly supports postgraduate students from designated countries to obtain skills and specializations that are not offered by the institutions in their home nations.
The organization is currently accepting applications in various areas with the closing date of July 29, 2020.
These are fully funded scholarships and most especially women are encouraged to apply for many of the programs.
Applications are being accepted for 32 MSc and 10 PhD programs. They recommend that applicants select up to three different host institutions from the specified ones.
Students shall be selected from specific countries for different categories. These are specified here.
