90s of last century was replete with new dances. Video clips were shot in abundance and almost everyone would copy the movements successfully and dance at the discos. However, there were a few dances that became iconic. Here they are:

Los del Rio: ‘Macarena’

They crafted the movements for a song and it became an instant hit. Remains popular to this day.

Kaoma – Lambada  

Lambada was officialy recorded in 1989, but became a rage several years later. At the same time, it was the first and only success of the band Kaoma

This became a popular rap dance, also based on the movements devised for the song.

Ricky Martin – Livin’ La Vida Loca

The movements of Ricky Martin for the Song went on to become a dance.

Michael JacksonBlack Or White

Michael Jackson is one of the most copied icons within music industry what regards an appearance, style and of course moves. He came up with his  own original movements that were extremely difficult such as the moonwalk which remains extremely popular to this day.
