WSIS Forum Photo Contest 2017 In Switzerland

The World Summit on the Information Society Forum is inviting people from around the world to picture how Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are playing an enabling role in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Everyone is welcome to take part in building a collage of ICT for Sustainable Development photographs. The deadline for the contest is May 2nd.

In order to participate in the contest, applicants should send photos of projects, people, and organizations that are leveraging the power of ICTs to make a difference.

The three winning entries in the WSIS photo contest will be awarded and presented at the WSIS Forum 2017 on 12-16 June 2017 in Geneva, Switzerland. Dedicated posters and other campaign materials highlighting their work will be created and shared among ITU and its stakeholders.

Main criteria

  • Applicants should be 18 and older at the time of entry;
  • All applications must be submitted in English;
  • Photos should neither violate the rights of a third party, nor contain offensive content;
  • Photos should have a capture resolution of at least 1600×1200 pixels and cannot be larger than 7MB.
