Internship in Tajikistan: WFP Tajikistan Country Strategic Plan addresses the gaps identified in the zero-hunger strategic review and aims to implement effective and equitable evidence-based programmes, including for climate change adaptation and emergency preparedness.
The position will be based in the Resilience and Climate Change Adaptation Unit of WFP Tajikistan Country Office in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The internship will be typically for the period of at least 3 months during May/June to August/September 2020.
The intern will be paid a monthly stipend of approximately USD 520 per month as a contribution towards basic subsistence costs. WFP will reimburse travel tickets for candidates who are nationals of developing countries and are pursuing their studies in their home country.
Main criteria
- Candidates must be enrolled in a master’s degree or be a recent graduate of a master’s degree;
- Excellent English skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) are required;
- Throughout their assignment, WFP interns have access to an industry-leading learning platform, WeLearn. Depending on opportunities and availability of funds, he/she may participate in WFP workshops or seminars, as appropriate.
