Young people from selected EU countries are invited to join an eco-centre in Wroclaw, Poland on an 11-month volunteering opportunity. Participants will help engage local youth in climate change-related activities. The program provides volunteers with accommodation, food allowance, and travel reimbursement. The deadline is on 13 December 2020.

OThe European Solidarity Corps is the European Union climate change program for youth volunteering in Poland. The program aims to foster solidarity in European society, engaging young people and organizations in accessible and high-quality solidarity activities.
It offers young people volunteering activities, traineeships, or jobs, or allows them to run their projects.
Throughout the program, volunteer activities will focus on expanding knowledge of the environment and multiculturalism, engaging local communities, especially kids and youth, strengthening open society and active citizens by cross-sectional education.
Educational activities on climate change will promote the European Commission Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development promotion of strategies taken into account by the European Commission on the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.
Additionally, there will be activities focused on solidarity and active citizenship. The travel costs will be reimbursed, and volunteers will live in a shared flat with other volunteers.
Except for food allowance, each volunteer will get €120 per month as pocket money on top of the food allowance. Health insurance is covered by the program.
The deadline is on 13 December 2020.
Main Criteria
Applicants should be 18-30 years of age. Basic environmental knowledge and awareness about sustainability issues are required.
People skills and empathy are necessary. Project management and graphic design skills will be an asset.
Citizenship of one of the following countries is required:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Spain, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Slovenia, Slovakia, or Romania.
