Youth from European countries are invited to apply for a five-month biodiversity volunteering programme in Valletta, Malta. Volunteers will have their flights and other expenses covered by the host organization. The deadline is on Sunday 30th May 2021.
Green House is an environmental NGO comprised of scientists and artists that seek to train, build awareness in and engage with Malta’s citizens.
They conduct long-term biodiversity monitoring programmes, communicate science and artistically education on our key species (orchids, bats, bees).
The host organisation will be responsible for providing funding for flights, local accommodation, a small stipend for food and transport, work schedules, mentoring, practical support and training. Volunteers will receive training on Maltese wild orchids, bats, and surveying methods.
Volunteers should have minimum conservational level of English, artistic skills, and experience with environmental apps, i.e. ArcGIS or QGIS, Program R, Python.
The deadline is on Sunday 30th May 2021.

Interested applicants should send their CV and a letter of motivation describing why they would like to participate in the programme.
