The African World Heritage Fund (AWHF) in collaboration with the UNESCO Flemish Commission seeks an intern for a period of six months. Internships will be carried out virtually. Candidates will work promoting the fund on social media. The deadline is on Sunday 28th February 2021.
The African World Heritage Fund (AWHF) was created in 2006 to support the effective conservation and protection of cultural and natural heritage of outstanding universal value in Africa.
The start date is scheduled on Sunday 1st May 2021 but will be further agreed upon with the candidate.
The internship content is focused on communication, media relations and partnerships.
The selected candidate will assist with promoting and increasing the visibility of AWHF through social media, writing of press releases, research, and other ad hoc work.
The deadline is on Sunday 28th February 2021.
Main Criteria
- A degree in Social Science, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English. French would be a great advantage.
- An up-to-date CV and a cover letter.
