University of Lausanne offers international students the opportunity to receive a monthly scholarship of CHF 1,600 for the duration of the master’s studies.
The University of Lausanne in Lausanne, Switzerland was founded in 1537 as a school of theology, before being made a university in 1890.
The university is the second oldest in Switzerland, and one of the oldest universities in the world to be in continuous operation.
Master’s excellence scholarships are awarded exclusively to students who have graduated from a foreign university and whose academic results are of a very high level.
The scholarship is granted for the minimum period of the programme chosen by the student. It amounts to CHF 1,600 per month from 15 September to 15 July or 10 months a year for the complete duration of the masters.

Students who have already obtained a masters level degree from a foreign university also have the right to apply, although priority will be given to students who only hold a Bachelor- level degree (or are about to obtain one) at the time of application.
The deadline is on Monday 1st November 2021.
