Post-doctoral candidates from Africa, Latin America, and South/East Asia are invited to apply for scholarships to conduct research at the University of Bonn. Studies should focus on Sustainable Development Goals. The funding is available for 3-12 months. The deadline is on Monday 31st May 2021.
The expansion of global collaborations to advance the University of Bonn’s profile is an important part of its Excellence Strategy.
For this reason, the university is offering four funding lines to support the internationalization of Bonn’s researchers across all disciplines.
One of them is the Bonn SDG Fellowship that aims to invite scholars from Africa, Latin America, and South/East Asia for research on Sustainable Development Goals-related topics for periods of 3–12 months.
The funding can cover the following:
- A travel allowance depending on country of origin.
- A scholarship of € 3,000 per month and additional funds for family members: up to € 300 for a spouse and € 250 per child.
- A research expense allowance of up to € 500 per month.
The deadline is on Monday 31st May 2021.
