Current bachelor students are invited to join the UN University Programme for biotechnology on a three-month paid internship. Participants will work on a data entry and curation project. Application process is ongoing.
The United Nations University (UNU) is an international community of scholars engaged in research and postgraduate training.
The university functions as a think tank for the United Nations system and contributes to capacity building, particularly in developing countries.
Under the supervision of the Senior Assistant, the intern will be handling the ‘Database: Data entry and curation’ project.
All tasks can be accomplished remotely, although meetings could be arranged in the facilities, if necessary.
Assignments may include providing research support to verify data, continuous organization and integration of data, and ad hoc tasks.
The successful candidate shall be based at UNU-BIOLAC in Caracas, Venezuela, on a part-time basis (30 hours per week) for three months.

Main Criteria
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’ degree in Communications Sciences, Journalism, International Studies or related fields.
- proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- a cover letter and a resume that includes information on academic and work experience.
