Candidates wishing to enter the TV & film industry, are invited to apply for a six-months long paid internship with the UK Screen Alliance. The organisation is looking for a communications and events intern. This remote internship is a full-time commitment. The deadline is on Tuesday 13th July 2021.
UK Screen Alliance is the trade association that represents Visual Effects (VFX), TV & Film Studios, Postproduction, Production Services and Animation in the UK.
It is the membership organisation for over 100 leading employers in this sector and its primary purpose is advocacy at national, regional and local level for its member companies and the wider screen industries.
This role is home-based with plans to meet in-person in central London weekly once the pandemic restrictions are eased.
Interns will be responsible for the production of a monthly newsletter and weekly member news emails, writing copy and collating other content for final sign off by CEO prior to publication.
The deadline is on Tuesday 13th July 2021.
Main Criteria
Candidates should demonstrate evidence of a strong interest or previous experience in marketing, communications or event management.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build rapport with others are required. Proficiency in MS Suite is necessary while skills in Eventbrite, MailChimp, or similar web applications are preferred.
