Turin School of Regulation of Local Public Services

The Turin School of Regulation is intended to offer the candidates two weeks of full immersion in the sphere of regulation of local public services  and is mainly addressed to undergraduate students at their last year, PhD and graduate students and officials from the Public Administration (municipalities, counties, regional bodies) and regulatory agencies. The deadline is on 3 June 2019.

The course will include theoretical modules, industry analysis, and sector-based case studies of main local industrial public services (e.g. waste, water, public transport, district heating, sport facilities). The summer school will take place on 2-13 September 2019 in Turin, Italy. The teaching language is English.

Applicants from new (post 2004) EU Member States (https://europa.eu/european-union/about-eu/countries_en) and non-OECD countries (http://www.oecd.org/about/membersandpartners/list-oecd-member-countries.htm) can apply for a full scholarship that will cover participation and accommodation in Turin, Italy.  Travel to and from the venue is at the expense of the participants.

Main criteria:

The School is addressed to final year undergraduate students, graduates and PhD candidates, officials of the Public Administration (municipalities, counties, regional bodies) and regulatory agencies staff.

Candidates will be evaluated based on their professional experience and current job position.

Candidates with degrees in Economics, Environmental engineering, Law, and Public administration are eligible to apply.
