Applications are now open for the Graz International Summer School Seggau. The event will take place from 2nd to 15th of July 2017 in Austrian Seggau Castle. Summer School is designed for internationally oriented, highly motivated students from all disciplines, who wish to deepen their understanding of current European and international affairs. Deadline to apply is February 28th.
The topic of the event is “Radical Definitions: State – Society – Religion”. Participants will study and discuss global developments and challenges within the context of transformation processes and demographic change reflecting aspects of individual, social, political, religious, cultural, literary, regional, economic, cohort and national identities.
Main criteria
- Students in their second term, students with a bachelor degree;
- Students working on their final thesis;
- Students from all faculties are welcome to apply;
- Students in their first or second semester also apply, all places not taken by advanced students will be given to undergraduate students;
- Fluent English.
The total student participation fee is € 1500 covering course costs, tuition, room & board for the entire two weeks, and the excursion to Graz. For students from the University of Graz (including Uni Graz Erasmus students in the summer term of 2017) participation fee is € 500.
Even though you might not have the financial ability to participate, there are plenty of scholarships oppotunities.
