The Global Entrepreneurship Summer School 2016

Are you a student and want to solve one of the main problems the world is facing at the moment? If yes, then apply now for the Global Entrepreneurship Summer School 2016 (GESS). This year the event focuses on the topic of migration! The School takes place in Munich, Mexico City and Shanghai from September 10 to September 16, 2016. You can choose any location you want. The application process is open until March 31.

The Global Entrepreneurship Summer School (GESS) is a global initiative of six universities in Munich, Mexico City and Shanghai.

You will get a chance to work in international and interdisciplinary teams to develop ideas that have both a sustainable impact for society and a self-sustaining, profitable business model. Over the course of 7 days, you will learn about entrepreneurship, develop your own sustainable business ideas, and build a network of entrepreneurial international friends.

Main criteria:

  • All undergraduate and graduate students, aged 18 – 27, from all fields are welcome to apply;
  • You must be enrolled at a university at some point during the 2016 calendar year;
  • Good knowledge of English.

Participation fee is EUR 119 per selected participant. Organisers may cover parts of the travel expenses incurred by selected international students, with a maximum of EUR 500. However, you will receive this grant in cash during your stay, so all grant recipients must be able to cover all expenses upfront prior to GESS.
