The Textile Design Talents Solstudio Award Contest is targeted at supporting talented textile designers, draw the attention of all branch professionals to them, and create conditions for better application and development of their outstanding capabilities in the industry. The deadline is on February 17, 2019.
The Contest participants will have to review the contest assignment: a mood board for two trends of the seasons, and create a collection of textile patterns to be assessed by a professional international jury.
The winner will take part in a one-week paid practical training at Ratti S.p.A. – Marzotto Group (Italy) textile factory. The winner will also get an Award Statuette, a Diploma and Panton color guide book.
Second place finalist will receive a certificate of 50,000 rubles from the Fashion Factory School business school for any training course. The winner will also get an Award Statuette, a Diploma and Panton color guide book.
Main criteria
- Individual applicants from any country aged 18 and above, as well as studios and creative associations, will be admitted to participation in the contest.
The Contest invites design professionals, independent textile and interior designers, designers of clothing and accessories, design studios and artistic associations, students and graduates of specialized higher education institutions, as well as all those with relevant background and desire to create textile patterns.
