Application procedure is now open for an interdisciplinary summer university programme in Austria, which is dedicated to sustainable architecture and the built environment. The program is for future leaders, motivated individuals and all students who are eager to learn and make a change in engineering, urban planning. Deadline to apply is April 20.
The seventh Green.Building.Solutions Summer University Program takes place from July 22 to August 13. The event is a first hand ecological knowledge and engineering expertise from six Austrian Universities and Institutes bundled in a three-week program in the capital of energy efficient building: Vienna. The event would be interesting and useful for students and professionals who would like to strength their knowledge in the field of sustainable development. The Summer Univeristy is organized by the OeAD Housing Office together with the University of Applied Life Sciences and is a not for profit initiative. The academic course is a 3-week summer program on master-level.
The program is not funded. Regular participation for students costs EUR 2000, for professionals – EUR 2490. The fees include: lectures, local transport, and accommodation.
For those students, who apply before April 20 2017, there is the possibility to get an official certificate with 7 ECTS-credits from the University of National Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU) after a successful completion. For foreign students this certificate needs to be acknowledged by the home university.
