Summer Research and Measurement Sciences Internship Programme for Graduate Students

Current doctoral students with interest in psychology, education, measurement, statistics, cognitive or learning sciences are invited to join Education Testing Service on a ten-week paid internship. Participants will receive a salary of $7,500. Upon completion of the internship, candidates will have the opportunity to present their findings. The deadline is on Monday 1st February 2021.

Education Testing Service (ETS) is the world’s largest private educational testing and measurement science organisation.

Each year, the company develops, administers and scores millions of tests including the TOEFL, TOEIC, GRE and Praxis tests.

Since the company’s founding in 1947, Education Testing Service (ETS) research has produced important contributions to the fields of education and assessment and is the holder of many patents in the field.

As an intern in research and measurement sciences, you’ll work with experts who are nationally and internationally known as thought leaders, trusted advisors and go-to collaborators for their high-impact work addressing significant educational and societal goals.

ETS staff in RMS have expertise in psychology, education, psychometrics, measurement, statistics, cognitive or learning sciences and data science.

Interns who are accepted into the programme will participate in data analysis, writing and other research tasks.

Upon the completion of the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to present your findings to teams across research and development.

Interns will receive a salary of $7,500 over the 10-week placement on 1st June 2021 – 6th August 2021.

The deadline is on Monday 1st February 2021.

 

Main Criteria

Candidates should be currently enrolled in a full-time doctoral programme in a relevant field of study. Completion of at least two years of coursework toward the doctorate prior to the programme start date is required.

As part of the application process, you should choose up to two research areas in which you are interested and provide written statements about your interest in the area(s) of research and how your experience aligns with the project.

An up-to-date CV, a recommendation letter, and a copy of graduate transcripts are also necessary.
