In order to apply for the scholarship, annual competitions take place in a variety of disciplines, from piano to string instruments. This scholarship is currently postponed, the next cohort is to be published on the website.

Main Criteria

The YMFE scholarship is aimed at music students at European conservatoires or academies who are not older than 25 years at the time of application.

The selection is based on the demonstrated musical abilities and the existing potential of the applicants.

In the first step, a pre-selection of applicants is made on the basis of the match samples sent, which are then invited to a prelude to a professional jury in a second step.
