Students wishing to pursue their PhD level studies in Singapore are invited to apply for the Singapore International Graduate Award. The scholarship covers tuition fees and provides a monthly stipend for up to four years of the PhD programme. The deadline is on Wednesday 30th June 2021.
The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a collaboration between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the Singapore Management University (SMU).
PhD training will be carried out in English at your chosen lab at A*STAR Research Institutes, NTU, NUS, SUTD or SMU. Students will be supervised by distinguished and world-renowned researchers in these labs.
The award provides support for up to four years of PhD studies including tuition fees, monthly stipend of S$2,000, which will be increased to S$2,500 after the passing of the qualifying examination, one-time airfare grant of up to S$1,500, and a one-time settling-in allowance of S$1,000.
The deadline is on Wednesday 30th June 2021.
Main Criteria
Please, provide the following documents as part of the online application:
- valid passport and a recent passport-sized photo
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s academic transcripts
- two recommendation reports
- GRE/IELT /TOEFL/SAT I & II/GATE results (optional)
