Sheikh Hasina Youth Volunteer Award 2020 : Response To COVID-19

The youth volunteer award is a network that promotes the value of volunteering for development through policy engagement, mutual learning, and sharing innovative and good practices.

Sheikh Hasina Youth Volunteer Award 2020 will be organised by the Bangladesh Ministry of Youth and Sports as a main host with the ministry of social welfare and the ministry of foreign affairs being the co-host ministries. 

Individuals and groups who have led and supported their local communities, conducted voluntary work in various fields will receive an award in a corresponding category.

The categories are the volunteer leadership, media and service excellence, online volunteer campaign, best innovative idea, and outstanding youth-led voluntary organisation. 

Winners in each category will receive US$2,500 and a scholarship to cover the expenses related to the Gala closing ceremony.

The deadline is on Saturday 15th May 2021.

 

Main Criteria

Participation is allowed to the citizens with Muslim background from the selected regions.

The age limit is 18 to 35 years. Participants from Bangladesh, Middle East, Rest of Asia, Africa, North America and Europe are eligible to apply.
