The Department of Education and Training is accepting applications for Australia Awards–Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships, which provide individuals of academic merit with high-quality learning opportunities that contribute to Australia’s standing as a world-leader in education and research. Students willing to start their course in 2018 can apply for the scholarship, deadline of which is 30th of June.
The scholarship, which is open to nationals of more than 100 countries, will cover the tuition fees (including student service and amenities fees) paid up to the maximum study/research duration on a pro-rata basis.
For international students, the Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship will cover duration of up to two years for a Master’s degree and four years for a PhD, while the Research Fellowships will last for duration of four-six months.
Main criteria
- If applying as an international student, a candidate must be a citizen or permanent resident of a participating country and remain so for the entire duration of the program;
- Holders of Australian permanent residency are not eligible to apply as international students.
The award recipients will also get travel allowance of $3,000 (up to $4,500 under special circumstances); establishment allowance of up to $4,000; monthly stipend of $3,000; and health and travel insurance.
