Research Fellowships for International PhD Students at Leibniz Institute of European History

The Leibniz Institute of European History (IEG) Awards Research fellowships for international PhD students for a research stay in Mainz from January 2016 or later. Deadline for submitting applications: 1 August 2015.

The IEG awards fellowships for international junior researchers in history, theology and other historical subjects. The IEG promotes research on the historical foundations of Europe from the early modern period to the 20th century, particularly regarding their religious, political and social dimensions.
 
This fellowship opportunity is open to doctoral candidates of any national background with a first degree in history, theology or another historical subject, and with a sufficient command of German.
