Early-career candidates that demonstrate a commitment to peace and conflict resolution are invited to apply for a fully funded Master’s degree programme at one of the programme partner universities. The deadline is on Saturday 15th May 2021.
The scholarships are provided by Rotary, a global network of 1.2 million members that promote peace, fight disease, work towards supporting vulnerable groups, and improving local economies.
Accepted candidates study peace and development issues with research-informed teaching and a diverse student body. The programs last 15 to 24 months and include a two- to three-month field study, which participants design themselves.
Member universities include International Christian University (Tokyo, Japan), University of Bradford (Bradford, England), and University of Queensland (Brisbane, Australia).
The deadline is on Saturday 15th May 2021.
Main Criteria
Master’s degree candidates must also:
- Be proficient in English
- Have a bachelor’s degree
- Have a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace as shown through professional and academic achievements and personal or community service
- Have at least three years of full-time experience in peace or development work
