Partially Funded Youth Leadership Summit In Bangladesh

The Youth Leadership Summit 2016 will bring together 500 university students and young professionals, competitively selected from Bangladesh and around the world. The Summit will feature a mix of plenaries and concurrent panels on issues ranging from identities and values to education, entrepreneurship, and social innovation. A scholarship is available. Deadline to apply is June 10th. 

Organizer of the event is Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC), The Bangladeshi first leadership institute. 

If you have an idea for a project that can improve the lives of others in your community, you will have the opportunity to implement your idea in reality. 10 winning proposals from Summit delegates will each receive BDT 800.000 (EUR 9.100) to bring their project to life. Once you are accepted as a Summit delegate, you will receive detailed instructions on how to apply for the BYLC Youth Leadership Prize 2016.

Main criteria:

  • university students from all over the world;
  • young professional below the age of 28;
  • fluent in English;
  • interested in public service.

Scholarships are available for a waiver of the registration fee for delegates with demonstrated financial need.
