Partially Funded Student Leadership Summit In Pennsylvania, USA

Applications are now open for the Hesselbein Student Leadership Summit 2016. 50 student leaders from across the world will meet at the end of July in Pennsylvania to learn how to be effective, ethical, and innovative leaders. Deadline to apply is May 1.

The event is organised by the University of Pittsburgh. During summit participants will work alongside distinguished mentors who will share their expertise and guide attendees through leadership training. Students will emerge from the academy with the skills and experience to excel as global leaders.

Main criteria:

Accomplished student leaders from college campuses across the world. Eligible students include rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduating seniors from two-year and four-year schools, and entry-level graduate students such as those enrolled to begin the first year of graduate school and/or those who have completed the first year of graduate school.

Participation is partially funded. Paid registration, room, board, and up to $500 towards travel for international students and up to $200 need-dependent travel for U.S. students.

To apply complete the online application and upload the following attachments:

  • One current letter of recommendation written by a university administrator;
  • Résumé (include GPA on résumé);
  • Single-page essay.

The event will be held from Saturday, July 23 to Tuesday, July 26 at the University of Pittsburgh. Deadline to apply is May 1.
