Currently enrolled graduate students with skills in Brazilian Portuguese are invited to join the RTI research team on a virtual internship starting in June 2021.
RTI is an independent organisation dedicated to conducting innovative, multidisciplinary research that improves the human condition.
RTI offers innovative research and development and a full spectrum of multidisciplinary services in health and pharmaceuticals, advanced technology, survey and statistics, education and training, economic and social development, and the environment.
The translational research intern will support the longitudinal examination of developmental outcomes and family adaptations of a Congenital Zika study.
The intern will help move forward publications and support data management tasks.
Responsibilities will include drafting manuscripts, data management, supporting project staff, and collaborating with international investigators.
This paid virtual internship will take place from June 2021 through September 2021.
The internship requires a minimum commitment of ten hours per week. Hours are flexible during business hours, Monday through Friday.

- Speaks/understands Brazilian Portuguese
- Demonstrated knowledge of quantitative research methodologies
- Experience with manuscript submissions
