The Rainforest Journalism Fund, an initiative of the Pulitzer Center, is seeking a part-time remote intern to support its mission. The intern will participate in editorial and publishing support functions, and research activities.
Candidates interested in the intersection of civic engagement, journalism, and environmental issues, with an emphasis on tropical forest landscapes are encouraged to apply. The deadline is on Monday 6th September 2021.
The Pulitzer Center is a non-profit organisation that supports the development of quality, independent journalism worldwide.
This internship will begin in October 2021 and end May 2022. This is a paid internship that will take place remotely. Candidates should have stable high-speed internet access and a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam and microphone.

Main Criteria
This position is well-suited for a current student (bachelor’s, associate) or recent graduate, although a degree is not required. The ideal candidate has an interest in global media, international development and environmental issues.
Language proficiency in English is required.
