Paid Internship In Germany

The German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GFEIC) supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. For the office in Eschborn, Germany they are looking for an intern in Financial Systems Development and Insurance. The deadline for applications is 31 May.

The intern will receive a remuneration of 1,520 euros per month. Tasks will include assisting in preparing and carrying out analyses and projects and administrative tasks, performing research on various topics in the area of climate risk management, supporting the team in knowledge management, and information exchange.

Main criteria:

  • Candidates must have recently completed their Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Economics or Disaster Risk Management or related fields or must be nearing completion of their Master’s programs;
  • Successful candidates should demonstrate some experience in financial sector development and have a very good command of spoken and written English;
  • Knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications is required.

Given mutual interest and availability, the internship can be extended to six months. Please note that the GFEIC would like to increase the proportion of employees with disability, both in Germany and abroad. For this reason, applications from persons with disabilities are most welcome.
