Opportunity for Young Entrepreneurs Passionate about Data Science and Business

The program is organised by Bertelsmann, a media, services and education company that operates in about 50 countries around the world. Participates will take part in workshops on future trends in Bertelsmann’s business areas, working hand in hand with experienced Bertelsmann entrepreneurs on key business ideas, and present their results in front of a jury of Bertelsmann executives.

The event will be held in Germany and promises attractive prizes for the best ideas and designs, individual career consulting and outstanding networking opportunities. What’s more alluring, participants will become members of the extraordinary “Talent Meets Bertelsmann“ network, which will give them the chance to build a long-term relationship with the company and other talented members.

Bertelsmann will cover the costs of each participant’s hotel room for the duration of the program, as well as travel expenses up to EUR 300 for students coming from European schools and up to EUR 500 for students from non-European schools.

Main criteria

• Applicants should be Bachelor, Master or MBA students or doctoral candidates, ideally in the field of economics, humanities, media management or business informatics with a keen interest in data science;
• Candidates need to demonstrate proven affinity for media and data in projects conducted outside of a school or university context;
• For the application, candidates should attach their CV as well as any certificates attesting to their proficiency in English.
