Candidates and organisations from around the world are invited to participate in the Nordic Arctic Cooperation Programme. Participants will receive up to €67,000 to fund their collaborative projects aimed at sustainable development in the Arctic. The deadline is on Monday 1st February 2021.
The aim of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Arctic Co-operation Programme 2018–2021 is to create sustainable and constructive development in the Arctic and for its people based on the four Ps: planet, peoples, prosperity and partnerships.
The Arctic Cooperation Programme of the Nordic Council of Ministers is administered by Nordregio.
As a general rule, three Nordic countries must be involved in a co-operation project. The leading partner must be from one of the Nordic countries.
The partnership can be supplemented with one or more non-Nordic countries.
Projects within the Arctic Co-operation Program shall where possible be carried out with the participation of inhabitants and stakeholders in the Arctic, including indigenous peoples.
Projects may be one-year or longer, but support can only be applied for one a year at a time. A maximum of DKK 500,000 per year will be provided.
The deadline is on Monday 1st February 2021.
Main Criteria
In the application form, information on the following must be provided:
- Detailed project description (maximum five pages).
- Detailed budget and schedule (maximum two pages).
- Communication and dissemination plan (max one page).
