Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory
Located in the Northern Territory, Kakadu National Park is the largest national park in Australia that is home to diverse terrain, flora, and fauna. In this national park, you can see not only giant crocodiles, and kangaroos, but also observe the incredible aboriginal rock art. According to the newest findings, Indigenous Australians have lived in this region for 40,000 years, creating their rock art in about 5,000 places such as Nourlangie, Nanguluwur, and Ubirr.

Purnululu National Park, Western Australia

This is a unique national park that is best seen from the bird’s eye by having a helicopter ride. It is truly one of the most incredible experiences you can have and the view is simply stunning once you fly over beehive-shaped karst sandstone formations that are marked with orange and black stripes.

Great Sandy National Park, Queensland

This national park is located on Fraser Island, the world’s largest sand island. The park is famous for dingoes that you can spot while in the park. Asides from fauna, the park is full of beautiful beaches, tall rain forests, and well-maintained trails such as Coolpola Great Walk.
The unique feature of this park is that it is located on both the Queensland coast and Fraser Island. On the mainland, you can find Cooloola Recreation Area filled with pristine beaches such as Rainbow Beach and incredible dune formations.
